"Social Hour"
This type of entertainment is my specialty. Many banquets and social dinners have a "social hour" or "happy hour" . This is the time that guests are arriving and getting acquainted before the meal is served. I will mingle among the guests and perform effects that are designed to break the ice and make people relax and have fun. These tricks are performed using the guests as helpers--many times the magic happening in their own hands. The tricks are quick, exciting, and visual. I can tailor my magic to incorporate a certain theme or direction if you like.
"After dinner"
Well....haven't you heard enough singing groups as entertainment? Don't get me wrong. I'm a musician myself and love music; but after that long-winded speaker you just sat through, it can be tiring. I know that I can offer you and your group some fun and audience participation. My stand up after dinner show is quick (20-25 minutes), but packed with a lot of magic and fun. No vulgar language or suggestive actions that would embarrass any spectator or volunteer. I promise.
"Events, fairs, and festivals"
Are you a planner of an annual city event looking for a "different" type of street act? I have a lot of experience performing "walk-around" magic. A street performer is the perfect solution to crowds gathering for a main attraction on a bandstand. Street magic will compliment any event by adding a festive atmosphere to the surroundings. I have also developed a platform show that can be performed between major acts to keep a crowd.
"Family gathering"
Family reunion?... Child's birthday party?... Retirement party?... I can adapt to almost any need. I can tailor a comedy show for children with effects just for them or construct a show the whole family can enjoy. A children's magic show, however, is not for children age 5 or under. Grades 1 thru 6 are ideal.
"Something else in mind..." ?
Most of my magic can fit in one little bag and can adapt myself to perform almost anywhere. Give me a call !
